Bennett: Volunteer-free Israel will not last a day

Bayit Yehudi leader Naftali Bennett announced his support for local volunteering while speaking at an event dedicated to the volunteers of Gush Etzion Saturday.
Hundreds of Gush Etzion residents, members of Knesset and volunteers attended the ceremony for volunteers, which was held in memory of the late Lt. Col. Moshe Muallem, husband of Bayit Yehudi MK, Shuli Muallem, who was killed in the 1997 helicopter disaster. The event, held at the local Community Center, was dedicated to 1,500 volunteers.
After hearing dozens of stories of the great work of local volunteers, Bennett enthused "with this level of volunteering, we do not need a government."
He also said the a volunteer-free Israel would not survive a single day.
