The Binyamin council head responded to a West Bank shooting attack that left an Israel man in moderate condition on Tuesday night, saying the attack was directly linked to the removal of IDF security checkpoints.
"The attack is a direct outcome of the removal of security checkpoints, which miraculously ended with wounds only [and no fatalities]," Avi Ro'eh, Binyamin council head said in response to the attack.
Ro'eh went on to stress that "a security policy must not rely on miracles."
