Blair on Sharon: He knew when to fight, knew when to seek peace

Former British prime minister Tony Blair said that former prime minister Ariel Sharon was both a man of war and of peace during his speech at the former premiers memorial at the Knesset Monday.
"The state he fought for from the age of fourteen had to be protected. When that meant fighting he fought. When that meant peace sought peace, Blair said.
Blair shared his impression of Israeli leaders in general saying: "All Israeli leaders I've encountered have something unusual and precious - true love of country, state and land."
