Blaze breaks out at Dead Sea hotel, 6 suffer smoke inhalation

Firefighters evacuated a hotel full of holiday guests at the Dead Sea on Tuesday afternoon, after a fire broke out on the tenth floor.
Several fire crews were called to the Leonardo Privilege Hotel to battle the blaze, and within about an hour of reporting the blaze to the media the Negev branch of the Fire Service reported that they had established control over the blaze.
A total of six people suffered from smoke inhalation, including a baby, an adult guest and four hotel employees, according to the Fire Service.
The Fire Service said Tuesday afternoon they had not yet determined what caused the blaze, but that an investigation has been opened.
