Body found in Nahal Ketura feared to be of missing hiker

Search and rescue teams on Monday morning located and were attempting to retrieve the body of a man in Nahal Ketura, north of Eilat.
The body is feared to be of a 35-year-old Herzliya resident and father of two, who began a solo trek in the area on Thursday and made last contact with his family on Friday.
Teams from Eilat and the region had been searching for the man since Sunday, after police declared him missing.
On Sunday evening the family of missing hiker Eran Galil identified a body of a young man found by search teams at the bottom of a 100-meter abyss near Nahal Arugot in the Judean Desert in the afternoon as their son, who had been missing since Thursday
