Border Police thwarts stabbing attack at Cave of the Patriarchs

Border Police officers thwarted a stabbing attack on Monday night when they thoroughly searched a 20 year old Palestinian who concealed a knife on his person and attempted to enter the Cave of the Patriarchs, a prayer site in Hebron, sacred to Jews and Muslims.
The police officers searched the man several times as the metal detector alerted them that he is carrying a metal object, this despite the man emptying his pockets and claiming he wasn't.
The knife was eventually discovered and he was taken for further questioning.
