Border policeman, 20, wounded in vehicular terror attack last week succumbs to wounds

20-year-old Border Police Officer Benjamin Jakubowicz, who was critically injured in a car-ramming attack last we, succumbed to his wounds on Sunday.
The attack took place at around 4 p.m. on Route 60 near the Palestinian town of Halhoul, north of Hebron. In security camera footage of the event, the vehicle can be seen approaching a curve in the road and then speeding up and swerving into a group of security personnel.
Benjamin was brought to the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jeruslaem  in critical condition. Doctor's attempted to stabilize his condition but he continued to deteriorate.
Jakubowicz, who joined the Border Police force last year, is survived by his parents, brother and two sisters.
