The UK's ambassador to the UN, Barbara Woodward, announced that she will initiate a discussion in the UN Security Council about Iran's attack on the commercial ship Mercer Street off the coast of Oman this week.
"The attacks on commercial ships constitute a threat to international peace and safety," she said.
