Brussels police surround man in wired coat, have situation 'under control'

Police in Brussels, Belgium say they have surrounded a man wearing a long winter coat with wires emerging from it, ordering the evacuation of nearby shops while cordoning off the area, Sky News reported Wednesday.
Local authorities deployed bomb-squad units to the area and reportedly have the situation "under control," a Brussels police spokesperson told local media outlets.
Motive for the event remains unclear.
