At least three government buildings near the US Capitol were evacuated due to a bomb threat on Wednesday morning, officials told The Washington Post.
Some streets in the area near the Humphrey Building of the Department of Health and Human Services were closed, according to the report.
A spokesperson for HHS stated that there was a bomb threat received at the Humphrey Building and that it had been evacuated "out of an abundance of caution."
