Bulgaria gov't survives no-confidence vote

SOFIA - The Bulgarian government on Thursday survived a parliamentary no-confidence vote over charges it has failed to reform its slow and inefficient judiciary and jail organized crime bosses and corrupt officials.
Prime Minister Boiko Borisov's cabinet survived the vote, the fourth since it took office three years ago, with backing of independent lawmakers, as had been widely expected.
72 lawmakers voted for the motion compared to the 121 needed to topple the center-right government.
