Burhan: Meeting with Netanyahu meant to maintain Sudanese security

Chairman of the Sovereignty Council of Sudan Abdel Fattah al-Burhan said on Tuesday that his meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was meant “to preserve and maintain Sudanese national security and achieve the supreme interests of the Sudanese people.”
Sudan’s leader added that the country still holds a “principled stance on the Palestinian issue and the right of its people to establish its independent state... in accordance with the Arab consensus and Arab League decisions.”
