Bus firms indicted for operating non-blind-friendly buses

The Egged and Kavim bus companies on Sunday received indictments for operating buses that were inaccessible to the blind, Army Radio reported.
The companies were accused of not announcing the names of bus stops over a speaker, despite a law saying they should.
The indictment was filed by the Commission on Equal Rights for People with Disabilities.
