The cabinet unanimously approved the appointment of Dr. Karnit Flug as the Bank of Israel Governor on Sunday.Flug, who was the Deputy BoI governor and has served as the acting bank chief for the past four months, was appointed by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Yair Lapid last week.
