Car accident in the West Bank leaves police officer injured

A routine traffic patrol in the Hebron area of the West Bank, at the entrance to Kiryat Arba, resulted in a car accident that resulted in the injury of a police officer.

According to the police the vehicle was stopped for a routine check but continued driving, injuring the police officer's leg and hand. The officer was evacuated to hospital for medical treatment.

Initial investigations indicate that the vehicle involved in the accident was stolen.
