Car mechanic crushed under truck he was trying to fix on Route 1

A 37-year-old man was crushed to death Thursday night under a truck he was trying to fix on Route 1 on the way to Jerusalem, Magen David Adom spokesman said.
The man, presumably a car mechanic, was working to fix the truck when a private vehicle collided with it, causing the jack holding the truck up to fall.
A man in his 50s, the driver of the truck, was moderately hurt and a 19-year-old man, the driver of the private vehicle, was lightly injured. Both of them were taken to the Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer.
