Cellcom cellular network crashes in Haifa and North

The cellular network of Cellcom Ltd. on Sunday crashed in Haifa and the North, disrupting mobile telephone and Internet services.
Dozens of Cellcom's mobile sites in the North reportedly broke down, blacking out telephone and data services.
Cellcom's rivals, Orange franchisee Partner Communications Ltd. and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. mobile subsidiary Pelephone Communications Ltd. also reported having problems.
The breakdown occurred in Cellcom's 3G network and many subscribers were transferred to the company's 2.5G GSM network.
The crash comes six months after the company suffered a nationwide crash of its network.
Cellcom was not available for comment.
