Clinton drums up support with multiple fundraisers

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton arrived in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts on Saturday, ahead of multiple fundraisers in New England.

As of August 2nd, Clinton's campaign reported it had $58 million in the bank. The organization raised nearly $90 million in July both for her campaign and for the Democratic Party, with more than half the donations coming from new donors.

The campaign credited last month's Democratic National Convention for the boost in fundraising in July.

Clinton leads Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump by 8 percentage points among likely voters, according to a Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll released on Friday.
