Coronavirus: Almost 5 million vaccinated, positive test results down to 1%

There were 442 new cases of the coronavirus in Israel on Tuesday, the Health Ministry reported on Wednesday, bringing the positive test results down to just 1.0%.

Of the 7,844 verified coronavirus patients, 396 are seriously ill, with 202 on ventilators.

Thus far, the country has fully immunized 4,764,656 individuals.

Some 6,201 people have died of the coronavirus in Israel.
