Head of the Constitutional Committee, MK Yakov Asher announced on Wednesday that the government would be extending the required isolation period for those staying in coronavirus hotels until this coming Tuesday.
A pilot which would allow people to isolate at home instead of at coronavirus hotels has been announced to begin next week with 100 people. However, expanding that pilot to apply to the entire population would require passing legislation, he explained.
