On Thursday, 1,325 new cases of COVID-19 were diagnosed, according to a Friday morning update from the Health Ministry.
The positive results are out of 89,942 tests administered.
Of those infected, 385 are in serious condition with 164 intubated.
3.8 million Israelis have received their booster shot, while 5.6 million have received their second and 6.1 million received the first.
The death toll stands at 7,976.
