Coronavirus in Israel: 1,560 new cases, 382 in serious condition

On Saturday, 1,560 new cases of COVID-19 were diagnosed, according to an update from the Health Ministry.

The positive results are out of 98,043 tests administered.

Of those infected, 382 are in serious condition with 166 intubated.

3.8 million Israelis have received their booster shot, while 5.6 million have received their second and 6.2 million received the first.

The death toll stands at 7,983.
