Coronavirus in Israel: 163,104 new job seekers since start of lockdown

Some 2,865 new job seekers joined the employment market in Israel over the weekend, bringing the total number of registered job seekers to 163,104 since the beginning of the lockdown, according to a Sunday morning update by the Israeli Employment Service.
Some 129,138 (79.2%) of those registered are on unpaid leave and 33,966 were fired or quit.
