There were 1,923 new coronavirus cases in the past day, the Health Ministry announced Sunday morning.
The Health Ministry also announced they conducted 45,938 tests - around 4.3% of tests returned a positive result.
Some 724 of current patients are in serious condition, with 210 intubated. The death toll is 5,861.
