Of those infected, 212 were in serious condition and 42 were on ventilators. The death toll rose to 6,477, with three deaths reported since Sunday morning.
On Sunday, 30,700 Israelis 60-years-old and older and Israelis with weakened immune systems received a third dose of the coronavirus vaccine. So far, about 45,000 Israelis have received the third dose.
