There were 3,097 new coronavirus cases in Israel on Monday, the Health Ministry announced Tuesday morning. Some 7% of those tested returned a positive result. Some 801 people are in serious condition, with 242 on ventilators. The death toll rose to 2,021, having passed the 2,000 mark on Monday.
