Some 3,421 new cases of the novel coronavirus were reported in Israel on Wednesday, with 3.28% of tests returning positive, according to a Thursday morning update by the Health Ministry.
Of those infected, 241 were in serious condition and 51 were on ventilators. The death toll rose to 6,503.
As of Thursday morning, 262,563 Israelis had received a third dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
