Some 10,947 new cases of the novel coronavirus were reported in Israel on Monday, with 719 patients in serious condition, according to a Tuesday morning update by the Health Ministry.
Some 7.65% of tests returned positive.
Of those infected, 172 were on ventilators. The death toll stood at 7,043.
Some 2,157,299 Israelis had received the third dose of the coronavirus vaccine as of Tuesday morning.
