Some 7,832 new cases of the novel coronavirus were reported in Israel on Tuesday, with 578 patients in serious condition, according to a Wednesday morning update by the Health Ministry.
Some 5.6% of tests returned positive.
Of those infected, 104 were on ventilators. The death toll stood at 6,708.
Some 1,132,594 Israelis had received the third dose of the coronavirus vaccine as of Wednesday morning.
