Coronavirus in Israel: 7,922 new cases, 5.5% of tests positive

There were 7,922 new coronavirus cases in Israel in the past day the Health Ministry announced Thursday evening.

The Health Ministry also announced they conducted 145,765 tests - around 5.5% of tests returned a positive result.

Some 599 current patients are in serious condition, with 104 intubated. The death toll is 6,748.
