Coronavirus in Israel: 8,586 new cases, 5.93% of tests positive

There were 8,586 new coronavirus cases in Israel in the past day the Health Ministry announced Thursday evening.

The Health Ministry also announced they conducted 149,487 tests - around 5.93% of tests returned a positive result.

Some 654 of current patients are in serious condition, with 186 intubated. The death toll is 7,465.
