Court approves ex-Kiryat Malachi mayor plea on sex charges

Beersheba Magistrate's Court approved on Sunday a plea bargain previously signed with former Kiryat Malachi mayor Moti Malcha, who was found guilty of sexual harassment against two women, Israel Radio reported.
As a part of the plea bargain, Malcha will pay each victim NIS 30,000 in compensation and serve 250 hours of community service. He was also forced to resign as mayor, and will not be allowed to run in the next elections.
