Court convicts man of sexually abusing 1.5-year-old

The Tel Aviv District Court on Tuesday convicted a man of sexually abusing the one-and-a-half year old child of a woman he was dating in what the Justice Ministry said was the youngest victim of sexual abuse in the country's history.
A Justice Ministry statement said that in light of the severity of the offense by the convicted man, Nissim Hadad, the prosecution would seek a continuous prison sentence beyond the standard spectrum that it normally requests.
