Court remands Tel Aviv parking lot rape suspect for 3 days

A Tel Aviv Magistrate court Wednesday extended the remand for three days and permitted the publishing of the name of, Ahmad Bani Jaber, age 21, the suspected rapist of the Tel Aviv parking lot rape and assault approximately two weeks ago.

Jaber is a resident of a town near Nablus in the West Bank.

The judge permitted publishing the suspects name in case there are other potential victims who may recognize his picture and come forward with additional allegations.

The suspect is accused of following a young couple to the Gan Ha’ir parking lot, brandishing a knife and forcing them into the parking lot’s bathroom, where he allegedly forced them to carry out sexual acts on one another and raped the 17-year-old girl.
