Some 618 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Israel on Friday, with 220 patients in serious condition, according to a Saturday evening update by the Health Ministry.
Of those infected, 131 are on ventilators. The death toll stands at 8,085.
3,943,120 Israelis had received the third dose of the coronavirus vaccine as of Saturday evening.
