Death toll rises to 14 in al Qaida-linked attack in Aden

Suspected al Qaeda-linked militantskilled at least 14 Yemeni soldiers and security guards onSaturday in a car bomb and grenade attack on the intelligenceservice headquarters in the southern port city of Aden.
On Saturday, witnesses said militants drove up to a buildingowned by Yemen's state television broadcaster and blew up amilitary vehicle guarding it outside.

They then moved on to the three-story intelligence basenearby and opened fire with automatic weapons androcket-propelled grenades.

The attackers also detonated a car bomb next to thebuilding, destroying part of it, said the defense ministry.
