Defense Ministry steps up Remembrance Day preparations due to heat wave

The Defense Ministry Families and Memorization Wing has stepps up preparations across military cemeteries ahead of Remembrance Day for the Fallen Soldiers of Israel and Victims of Terrorism, due to a heat wave that will dominate the weather during the day, according to weather forecasts.
Enhanced preparations include the deployment of more than 130 Magen David Adom ambulances across 52 military cemeteries that will host official memorial ceremonies, and 650 medics. Defense Ministry officials are also setting up shade at the cemeteries, and plastic chairs near each grave of a fallen soldier. It will hand out hundreds of thousands of water bottles to mourner.
"We call on the public to act responsibly, to drink frequently, and to turn to medics and officials at the military cemeteries [if needed],| the Defense Ministry said.
