Interior Minister Arye Deri commented for the first time Wednesday on a new corruption affair he is allegedly involved in, saying that the report first aired on Channel 2 Tuesday evening "completely surprised me."Deri said that he had "turned to the attorney-general and requested that anything connected to me or my name be taken out from under the gag order."The interior minister said that he would gladly stand before any investigative body. "I asked that they accelerate the process, to do it as quickly as possible," he added. "I and everyone connected to me is prepared to answer any questions and help.""I will continue to stand normally and we will continue to focus on our work," Deri said.
