Organization says doctors refusing to perform treatment for Palestinian on hunger strike

The organization Physicians for Humans Rights told The Jerusalem Post Sunday that doctors at Soroka Univesity Medical Center in Beersheba are refusing to forcibly conduct any tests on a protesting Palestinian prisoner on hunger strike.
Mohammed Allaan, an accused Islamic Jihad member, is refusing to have any tests performed on his person. Doctors have agreed to refrain from performing any test due to Allaan's ability to express his desire not to receive any medical treatment.
Allaan has been detained without charge since November and was "at immediate risk" of death after fasting for over 50 days, The International Committee of the Red Cross warned Friday.
