Doctors to strike at Rambam following assault on physician

The Physicians Committee at Rambam Medical Center in Haifa will halt the hospital's activity tomorrow between 9:00 and 11:00 Thursday morning to protest a patient's attack on one of the hospital's doctors, Israel Radio reported Wednesday.
The assailant, a 51-year-old Acre resident, slammed the physician with a binder and attempted to smash him with an oxygen tank. The doctor was injured lightly and his attacker arrested, Israel Radio said.
Rambam Medical Center's emergency services will run per usual during the two hour strike.
