Due to coronavirus, Finance Ministry demanding shortened summer vacation

The Finance Ministry has requested that the Education Ministry shorten summer vacation by at least nine days for middle and high school students, in light of the coronavirus epidemic, according to Maariv, The Jerusalem Post's sister publication. 
In addition, Ron Erez, head of the organization Hamorim Havatik (Veteran Teachers), stated that he refuses to implement any changes to this current school year's learning schedule.
