E. J'lem resident sentenced for attempted murder of guard

The Jerusalem District Court on Wednesday sentenced an east Jerusalem resident to six years in prison for the attempted murder of a Beit Yonatan security guard.
Kaid Fatafta, 27, a resident of Jabel Mukaber was convicted as part of a plea bargain for shooting at a convoy taking Jewish residents in the neighborhood of Silwan along with two other men in 2010.
A security guard was lightly injured in the incident.
