Earthquake measuring 6.6 magnitude strikes off PNG's northcoast

An undersea earthquake measuring 6.6 magnitude struck off Papua New Guinea's northeast coast on Sunday, but there was no tsunami threat, said the Hawaii-based Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.
The quake struck at a shallow depth of 10 km (six miles) just off PNG's Manus Island, said the center.
