East Jerusalem man arrested for impersonating cop, threatening arrest

Police arrested an east Jerusalem resident in his 20s Thursday night for impersonating a police officer and threatening to arrest someone on the street, Israeli media reported.

Footage of the incident was shared on social media.

"You are under arrest for stealing a bottle of Coca-Cola, you are coming with me to the Russian Compound," the fake police officer, who is a resident of east Jerusalem's Beit Hanina neighborhood, said in the video, according to KAN.

This is a developing story.
