Education minister: 'Price-tag' attacks must be stopped

Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar lambasted the recent spate of so-called "price-tag" vandalism, calling the attacks a "violent and dangerous cancerous growth that must be obliterated."
Speaking at a memorial ceremony at the Central Youth Assembly to mark 16 years since the assassination of former prime minister Yitzhak Rabin, the education minister said perpetrators of "price-tag" attacks were "enemies of Judaism and the State of Israel."
Sa'ar called on law enforcement authorities to "act vigorously to eradicate this awful phenomenon."
The education minister's comments came in shadow of a new act of vandalism on Palestinian property, including arson on three cars, that occurred Tuesday night.
