Egypt court gives Morsi life in prison in espionage case

CAIRO, - An Egyptian court sentenced former President Mohamed Morsi to a life sentence of 25 years in prison on Tuesday in a case related to conspiring with foreign groups.
The general guide of the Muslim Brotherhood Mohamed Badie was also sentenced to 25 years in jail in the same case. In total, 17 were given life sentences, including senior Brotherhood figures Essam el-Erian and Saad el-Katatni.
