'Egypt Defense Minister confirms commitment to Camp David'

The Egyptian Minister of Defense Gen. Abdel Fattah al-Sisi telephoned his Israeli counterpart Ehud Barak on Friday morning, before meeting with Egyptian President Mohamed Morsy, according to Arabic language news site Al-Hayat.
According to the report, al-Sisi confirmed Egypt's commitment to the 1979 Camp David peace treaty during the phone-call. He also emphasized the understanding between Cairo and Tel Aviv on military efforts to combat terrorism in Sinai.
