Egyptian police arrest 7 Muslim Brotherhood leaders in Alexandria

Egyptian police arrested seven leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood in Alexandria according to sources in the Muslim Brotherhood and in the Egyptian police, Al Jazeera reported Sunday. The leaders were arrested during an organizational meeting and their lawyer Khalif Bayumi stated that the prisoners have been led to an undisclosed location. Bayumi added that the list of prisoners included Nasser Kamil, Ahmed Abd al-Ati, Muhammad Ahmed, Mamduh Hussein Abd al-Al , Muhammad Amin, Abd al-Jafar and Ahmed Abd al-Jafar. The arrests led to investigations into other Muslim Brotherhood members, who were not found in their residences when the Egyptian police conducted further raids.
