Eight dead from synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh, PA

WASHINGTON -- A man opened fire on a Jewish community congregated for Shabbat services on Saturday morning in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in one of the deadliest antisemitic attacks in modern US history.
The shooter killed at least eight people, including at least one of the police officers who rushed to the scene, and injured several others. The perpetrator began his attack shortly after the beginning of services. He surrendered to the police after a shootout, declaring to them that “all these Jews need to die” and other antisemitic slogans.
