Eight haredim charged, released after violent draft protest

A court in Jerusalem released on bail conditions, seven adults and one youth after they were arrested following the large haredi protest on Thursday against the government's intention to draft haredi men into the army.
The seven adult suspects were charged and released on conditions that required them to deposit funds with the court, and restricted them from attending any protest for ninety days, among other condition. The youth suspect was released and police expect to charge him as well.
Eight policeman were hurt in the protest that was attended by around 30,000 haredim.
